The stock market’s rally faded early Monday ahead of a key week of data and earnings including Nvidia and PCE. But there were a few stocks that cleared buy points. Famed fund manager Cathie Wood loaded up on China stocks, and Critical Metals (CRML) rocketed on news the Trump administration may take a stake in the firm. Shares of furniture firm Wayfair (W) plunged as much as 7%, leading to a wider sell-off in furniture stocks like RH (RHD) and Williams-Sonoma (WSM).
Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM), maker of chips for AMD, Nvidia, Credo Labs and others, also hit a buy point. Palantir Technologies (PLTR) rebounded after a tumble last week and is on IBD Leaderboard. Micron Technology (MU) climbed as Morgan Stanley upgraded the memory-chip giant to overweight.
